Born on December 31, 1982, Tehran

He initiated music in 1992  by learning the piano. Alireza Farhang, Alireza Tehrani, and Siroos Sangi were his first music instructors. Getting interested in composing musical pieces and being encouraged by his instructors, he decided to professionally continue music by learning the specialized courses of composition in 1997.

He learned the Theory of music and Sight Singing from Qodratollah Ahmadvand and the Basics of Rhythm, Drums, and some styles of music from Einollah Keivanshokooh. Moreover, he learned the sciences of Composition including Classical Harmony, Counterpoint, Musical Forms, Instrumentation, and Film music from Kambiz Roshanravan in a specialized way for three years. In order to complete his education, he studied in the field of composition at M.A level in Soore Art University and he could take the advantage of the musicians such as Mostafa Kamal Poortorab, Taqi Zarrabi, Vartan Sahakian, Kiawash SahebNassaqh, Sharif Lotfi and Nader Mashayekhi. In order to get familiar with Iranian Classical Music (Radif and Folk music), he benefited from the instructions of Masoud Shaari and Mohammadreza Darvishi.

Composing “Poem Symphonic, no 1” as his practical thesis and its recording with the National Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine, he graduated with the highest rank from Soore Art University in 2010.

In 2002, he seriously started composition by composing music for the theater. He composed and arranged music for various dramas for about 2 years. Moreover, He has composed more than 20 short films (Animations) and documentaries since 2004 so far. Film music and generally dramatic music have been some of his serious interests and specialties. His most important concern in music has been independent composition based on his personal ideas and experiences. He has constantly composed pieces in form of various combinations of instruments concurrent with the composition for film.
The effective elements on the development of his ideas toward composing independent pieces of music are the modern human being, cultural-social existence, effects of other arts, literature as well as the indirect effects of Iran’s music. regardless of Instrumentation, In his works, it is constantly observed a kind of visual narrative and ideation.

Furthermore, He has been active in the domain of teaching and research. These activities include the teaching basics of composition (theory of music, harmony, and counterpoint), basics of music, and Film music, translation of 3 books regarding film music, and counterpoint. He has cooperated as Visiting Lecturer with the Faculty of Art in Soore Art University as well as the Faculty of Cinema and Theater in Tehran University of Art since 2015.
